Past Fundraisers
Pit Bowl - Our third annual bowling benefit raised a total of $2,400 for Pound Buddies Animal Shelter and HSUS' Pets for Life Program.
Stress Free Cruelty Free- Our first Stress Free Cruelty Free event helped students de-stress before finals while teaching them about the importance of using cruelty-free products. We raised a total of $181 for West Michigan Critter Haven.
Compassion in Fashion - Our 2nd annual Compassion in Fashion show raised a total of $375 for West Michigan Critter Haven and Kent County Animal Shelter.
Pit Bull Awareness Tabling - For our 2012 March Pit Bull Awareness Month, we raised a total of $72 through bake sales, a coin toss game, and a "Can you spot the pit bull?" photo search game.
Pit Bowl - Our 2nd annual bowling benefit raised a total of $2,000 for Pound Buddies Animal Shelter and HSUS' Pets for Life Program.
Walk for Farm Animals - Every October, HSGV members participate in this fun and active event to raise money for Farm Sanctuary. We raised $155 in 2011 and $860 in 2012!
Adopt-a-Turkey - In November, we have a fundraiser to sponsor turkeys at Farm Sanctuary. We raised $111.00 in 2011, and sponsored 3 turkeys!
Mackenzie's Animal Sanctuary - In the fall of 2011, through bake sales and a coin toss game, we raised $175 in honor of Mackenzie's annual Pups and Pucks Walk-a-Thon.
