President Isabel Lorenzana
Isabel is a Senior at Grand Valley. She is studying Chemistry. This is her third year as a member of the Humane Society of Grand Valley, and this is her second position within the club. In addition to the HSGV, Isabel is also an active member of Alpha Sigma Tau. Isabel has grown up with animals her whole life such as dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, chameleons, and lizards. Isabel was a vegetarian for two years and believes that both humans and animals deserve to be treated with compassion and fairness. She hopes to empower the people around her to take steps towards living a more humane lifestyle.

Vice President Lindsey Vrba
Lindsey is a Senior at Grand Valley and is studying Communications. This will be her fourth year as a member of the club. Her favorite part is being able to volunteer with local groups and organizations, while also making friendships with other like minded animal lovers. This club has provided her with many opportunities to volunteer with local organizations as well as help fund-raise for some great causes including the Humane Society of West Michigan. She is a huge animal lover of all varieties, ages and sizes. Growing up she had a variety of pets. She is also VP of Membership for Phi Chi Theta which is a professional business fraternity.

Secretary Grace Batcho
Grace is a sophomore at Grand Valley State University. She is majoring is Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Grace has grown up with animals her whole life. She currently has two black labs, Sadie and Sasha, one black cat, Stella, one Russian blue cat, Zoey, and one calico cat, Dazey. She also just lost her very first golden retriever, Belle, who was her best friend since the age of six. She truly believes that animals play a very important role in our lives and shape us into who we are as people. Without Belle and her other pets, she wouldn’t be who she is today. Every animal deserves to be loved and spoiled and cared for humanely.

Volunteer Coordinator Mallory Lamphere
Mallory is a Junior at Grand Valley and is studying Biomedical Engineering. This is going to be her first full year in the club and is hoping to get more involved and create more volunteering opportunities for both herself and the rest of the club. Mallory grew up with all types of animals including horses, goats, dogs, and cats and currently has a 4 year old golden retriever named Charlie who is going to live with her this year(and will be attending some meetings).

Risk Manager Philip Tarver
Philip is a junior at Grand Valley. He studies film and video production with a minor in advertising and public relations. He's also on the E-board for Grand Valley's Comic Book Club. To him, helping to raise awareness for animals in need is the perfect antithesis to the stressful and laborious life of college.

Social Media Coordinator Jillian Neumann
Jillian is a Junior at Grand Valley. She is studying photography as her major and writing and business as her minors. She loves animals and has had 2 pet dogs in the past, but always enjoys the company of her beta fish at school. This is her 3rd year being a part of HSGV and second year as the social media coordinator. She is also a Lifegroup Leader for Campus Ministry at GVSU. She has been vegetarian for almost a year now and loves trying new recipes and new products that are cruelty free.
