I am passionate about the well-being of animals, the earth, and ourselves. I hope to make this world a better place to live for all species and have us all live in one with the earth. Be Healthy and Happy is my motto and I hope to protect the happiness of all!

She started shadowing at her hometown Vet clinic when she was 13, and a year later became the clinic’s Veterinary Assistant until she graduated high school. Catherine has dreamed of becoming a Veterinarian since the age of 4 when her parent’s gave her a Golden Retriever puppy named Winnie. After her undergraduate studies she would like to go to Vet school and become a Veterinarian for the United States Army. She would like to take care of the government’s bomb and drug sniffing dogs as well as family pets on Army bases.

Public Relations Director - Katie Stefanek
Katie is a senior majoring in Philosophy and minoring in Non-Profit Administration and Religious Studies. She has always loved animals, especially reptiles, ever since she was little. Along with a passion for animals Katie has been inspired by her teachings in the prison system and hopes to one day work towards the implementation of shelter animals in correctional facilities. When it comes down to the way she sees people, animals, and their relation to one another, she lives by the philosophy best summed up by philosopher Immanuel Kant, "We can judge the heart of a man by his treatment of animals."
Secretary & Service and Advocacy Liaison - Jasmin Herendeen
Jasmin Herendeen is a sophomore studying History. She has been in the club for two years, volunteering and helping whenever she possibly can. Since she was three, she has always been around animals and her parents’ and sister’s love of animals spread to her as well. She loves many animals, but a lot of her love goes to her own pets. She currently has three big dogs and two rats at her parents’ house who take a lot of her attention whenever she’s home. During the summer, she works as a camp counselor for a Girl Scout camp, helping kids to be safe and appreciate the world around them. She feels that everyone, people and animals, deserve to be treated with kindness, respect and love.
