Pit Bowl Archives
Event History
In 2010, HSGV member Nikki Radzinski organized and ran the club's first ever Eng Dog-Fighting Bowling Fundraiser which raised over a thousand dollars for HSUS's End Dogfighting Campaign. In 2011, the fundraiser took a hiatus, but HSGV member Kristina Pepelko brought it back in 2012 and revamped the fundraiser into Pit Bowl, a benefit that aims to strike out dog-fighting and negative myths about pit bulls. Pit Bowl is HSGV's largest grossing fundraiser to date, and we plan to continue working to end dog-fighting and battling against pit bull discrimination with this yearly fundraiser.
